Alpasion is an ambitious project to develop – among friends – a high quality, organic vineyard in the high Uco Valley region of Mendoza in Argentina. Starting from scratch, it has taken several years to advance to the stage we are now at – with 60ha of ground now planted with vines (it was land that had never been cultivated previously, and the vines are developing slowly and organically). There is also a cozy lodge which is for the use of shareholders on the property, but which can also be booked on a hotel basis.

As funding permits, we are also building the facilities to process our harvest and to handle all aspects of winemaking internally. Currently, the barrel aging room is nearing completion, which will enable us to ensure secure and temperature controlled storage of our finest wines.

Several of the wines have received critical acclaim, and the wine is always appreciated at tastings and events – several of which are organized around the world on an annual basis. All the shareholders have their fingerprint on the label of the main Alpasion Grand Malbec wine, to signify our involvement, commitment and passion for the project.
